How to Play Telestrations
- Everyone starts a secret word, sketches it, passes the book, guesses from the drawing, sketches that guess, and so on until the books return — optionally use the scorecard timer while people draw.
- Agree how you award points each round (for example funny guesses, close endings, or speed bonuses) before you score.
- After each round, enter one points value per player for that round; the sheet rolls it into each player's running total.
- The player with the highest total when you finish playing wins.
Tips & Strategy for playing Telestrations
- Enter 0 when a player earns no points that round so every row stays complete and totals stay accurate.
- If you enable the optional timer, keep the same limit every sketch so the game stays fair for every seat.
- Decide what counts as one “round” for your table (one full pass, one reveal, etc.) so everyone logs scores at the same time.
Frequently asked questions about Telestrations
What do I enter in each Telestrations cell?
One number per player per round — the points you award for that player for the whole round (combine draw, guess, and pass into one total if that is how you score at the table).
Can we track Telestrations for a large group on one scorecard?
Yes — each column is one player (or seat). The sheet supports two through twenty players for big tables.
Does this Telestrations scorecard include a timer?
Optional “Round timer” in setup sets a shared sketch or turn window in seconds; start, pause, and reset the countdown on the scorecard (with a sound at zero). Turn it off if you already use a sand timer or phone clock.
How is the Telestrations winner decided?
The highest running total after your last scored round wins — add a new round row whenever you finish another pass or reveal.
How does this Telestrations scorecard work?
Enter scores in the rows for each hand, hole, or round — the scorecard updates running totals and highlights the leader automatically. You can add players, rename them, and keep the sheet open for the whole session.
Can I use ScorecardGO to score Telestrations on mobile?
Yes. ScorecardGO is built for phones and tablets: large tap targets, readable tables, and layouts that fit narrow screens so you can score Telestrations wherever you're playing.
