How to Play Cribbage

  • CheckmarkIn standard two-player cribbage, each player is dealt 6 cards, discards 2 to the crib, and plays a 4-card hand plus the starter card. The first player to reach 121 points wins immediately.
  • CheckmarkFor each deal, enter the total points each player earned from pegging, hand scoring, and any crib points for the dealer.
  • CheckmarkUse standard cribbage terms when counting: his heels or nibs gives the dealer 2 when the starter is a jack; his nobs is the jack in hand matching the starter suit.
