Privacy Policy

Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how ScorecardGO ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our online scorecard services. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as player names and game scores that you enter into our scorecard applications. By default this information is stored only in your browser on your own device and is never sent to us. If you choose to share a scorecard, that scorecard is sent to our servers so other people can see it — see “Shared Scorecards” below.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages viewed. This information is used to improve our services and ensure proper functionality.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and maintain our scorecard services
Improve and optimize our website performance
Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
Ensure the security and integrity of our services
Comply with legal obligations
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
With your explicit consent
To comply with legal requirements or court orders
To protect our rights, property, or safety
In connection with a business transfer or merger
Data Storage and Security
By default, your game data (player names, scores, and setup choices) is stored only in your browser using local storage. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and remains under your control. The exception is a scorecard you have chosen to share, which is described in the next section. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information.
Shared Scorecards
Sharing a scorecard is entirely optional. When you tap Share, a copy of that scorecard is sent to and stored on our servers so that other people can view it. This is the only situation in which your game data leaves your device.
What is sent: the player names exactly as you typed them, the scores, the type of game, and your setup choices such as the number of rounds. We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, accounts or any other identifying information — sharing requires no signup.
Who can see it: anyone holding the link, QR code or short code can open the scorecard, and — if you have allowed it — add or remove scores. There is no password. Treat the link like the scorecard itself and only give it to people you are happy to have see it. You can switch everyone to view-only, or stop sharing entirely, at any time during the game.
Because player names are visible to everyone you share with, we suggest using first names or nicknames rather than full names.
Where it is stored: shared scorecards are processed and stored on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc., which may involve storage on servers outside your country.
How long it is kept: a shared scorecard is deleted automatically seven days after the last score is entered. Deletion is permanent and we keep no backup copy. Your own device keeps its local copy as normal.
Your browser also stores a small amount of information about scorecards you have shared, so that you stay in control of them if you reload the page. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to ensure the proper functioning of our website and to remember your scorecards and preferences. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, which sets its own cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device type and the pages you visit. We do not sell this information or use it to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your personal information
Object to our processing of your information
Request restriction of processing
Data portability
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
