How to Play Chickenfoot
- With a double-9 domino set, each round starts with the required double from 9-9 down to 0-0. When a double is played, three matching tiles must be played against it to form a chicken foot before normal play continues.
- When a player dominoes, each other player scores the penalty value of the tiles remaining in their hand; the player who went out scores 0. If your rules count the 0-0 as 50 points (or another value), include that value in the round score.
- If the round becomes blocked and nobody has emptied their hand, score each player’s remaining tiles according to your group’s scoring rules.
- A full double-9 match runs ten doubles rounds in order; the scorecard ranks players by lowest cumulative tile penalty points (house rules may shorten or extend play).
