How does the Yahtzee upper section bonus work?
Fill aces through sixes with the sum of dice showing that number. If that upper total is 63 or more, the 35-point bonus is added automatically on the card. 63 is the usual target from averaging three of each face. You do not type the bonus yourself. Lower-section boxes are scored separately on the same sheet.
How many points is a Yahtzee worth?
Five matching dice score 50 in the Yahtzee box. Many house rules add 100 for each extra Yahtzee after the first 50 is already filled. If the Yahtzee box was filled with a zero, extra Yahtzees usually cannot claim that 100-point bonus. Enter the category you choose after each turn; the sheet totals the card. Agree on the bonus rule before you start so everyone logs extras the same way.
