How to Play Bunco
- Bunco is usually played in sets of six rounds numbered 1 through 6 (the “target” number for that round). After six rounds, many groups repeat for another set — your scorecard row is simply each round in order.
- On your turn you roll three dice. In round N, each die showing N scores 1 point. If all three dice show N, that is a Bunco — enter 21 for that round in typical US rules.
- Many groups award 5 points for three of a kind of a different number (sometimes called a mini Bunco) — use that value in the cell if your house plays it.
- Each row is one round for everyone at the table: enter each player’s points for that round only; the card adds cumulative totals.
- This card ranks players by total points across all rounds (a common tiebreaker). If your club crowns winners by “wins” instead, you can still use the same cells for points and compare totals manually.
Tips & Strategy for playing Bunco
- Confirm Bunco vs mini Bunco values and how many sets you will play before the bell rings.
- Rotating seats between tables? Keep one scorecard per table, or reset names when players swap.
- If your group breaks ties on most Buncos rolled, keep a quick tally on paper or add a note in chat alongside this total.
