How to Play Pass the Pigs
- On your turn toss the two pig dice, add the points for that throw, then either roll again to build your turn total or stop and bank those points.
- A Pig Out (pigs on opposite sides) ends your turn with no points banked — enter 0 in your cell for that table round.
- An Oinker (pigs touching) wipes your entire game total back to 0 — enter a negative equal to your current total so the scorecard resets.
- Some editions include Piggy Back (one pig lands on top of the other), which eliminates that player. This scorecard tracks standard scoring and does not track elimination — treat Piggy Back as optional or agree a house rule before you play.
- Common positions: Sider 1; Trotter or Razorback 5; Snouter 10; Leaning Jowler 15; doubles are 20 / 20 / 40 / 60; mixed combos score the combined value of the two positions.
- Each row is one full round of turns around the table. Enter the points each player banked on their turn during that round.
- The first player to reach 100 points wins — agree any house final-turn rules before you start.
Tips & Strategy for playing Pass the Pigs
- Don’t get too greedy — bank solid turn scores before a Pig Out wipes the points you just earned.
- Watch everyone’s running total as you approach 100 points.
- When someone Oinkers, enter the negative reset in the same table-round row so totals stay accurate.
