How to Play Monopoly
- Monopoly is a property-trading board game: players roll, move, buy and improve properties, collect rent, and try to drive opponents into bankruptcy.
- When the game ends, compare each player’s total net worth in Monopoly money — not just the cash they hold.
- Use Cash for bills on hand; Title deeds for owned properties at the values your edition uses (printed price, mortgage value, etc.); Buildings for houses and hotels at cost; Railroads and Utilities for those cards; Other for anything else your group counts (for example “Get Out of Jail Free” if you assign a value).
- The player with the highest total net worth wins (or use the sheet to settle a timed game).
Tips & Strategy for playing Monopoly
- Agree before play how you value mortgaged properties and any house rules for trades and loans.
- Double-check deed cards and building counts before entering totals — small mistakes swing the winner.
- For timed games, pause on the last turn and fill this sheet once to declare a winner by net worth.
